Windows Updates Fail Reverting Changes

1. Click Start, type msconfig in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.

2. On the General tab, click Selective Startup.

3. Under Selective Startup, Uncheck "Load Startup Items" check box.

4. Click the Services tab, click check box to select "Hide All Microsoft Services",
and then click Disable All.

5. Click OK.

6. When you are prompted, click Restart.

7. After the computer starts, run Windows Updates and install the available updates.

After Updates were successfully installed...


8. Click Start, type msconfig in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.

9. On the General tab, click Selective Startup.

10. Under Selective Startup, Check "Load Startup Items" check box.

11. Click the Services tab, click check box to select "Hide All Microsoft Services",
and then click Enable All.

12. Click OK.

13. When you are prompted, click Restart.
